On Friday 10 September, IACES held a one-day hybrid conference examining the EU's role in peacebuilding in Ireland. The conference was organised in collaboration with the John and Pat Hume Foundation. 

On Friday 20 November, 2020, IACES held a one-day online conference exploring the past, present and European future of Ireland's Ports, Coastal Communities and Maritime Sector.
